Jerry Mackenzie, Co-Owner
Jerry was born with a wrench in his hand. He has a lifelong passion for all things mechanical. With years of experience as a Master Technician, he brings deep technical expertise and leadership to Freedom 4×4. Jerry’s roots in the trade run deep. Shaped by time spent learning alongside his Dad and Stepdad, both skilled in the field and fueled by countless hours off’roading. His dedication to quality craftsmanship and off road perfomance drives everything we do at Freedom 4×4.

Sheena is the women behind the scene who keeps Freedom 4×4 running on the back end. With over 15 years of business ownership experience, she oversees the shop’s operations, marketing and shop management. After one unforgettable trip to West Virginia in 2020, she was hooked on the off roading lifestyle. Seeing the explosion of the powersports industry during the pandemic, Sheena recognized that combining Jerry’s mechanical expertise with her business background was the perfect way to turn their shared passion into a mission, helping others experience the same sense of freedom that off road brings.

Freedom 4×4 was built on the belief that every rider deserves a shop that cares as much about their machine as they do. We started with a simple goal to bring honest, dependable service and trail ready performacne to our off road community here in the Raleigh area.
